Explore Iloilo Photoblog

If you have pictures of beautiful places in Iloilo you want to share to the world. Getting them from your PC to this photoblog is very easy to do! Just follow these steps:

1. First you need to have a flickr account. You can signup for one here if you don’t have one yet.

2. Then, you’ve got to upload your pictures to your photostream (see the Flickr Help Section for assistance)

Here’s the important part if you already have photos in your photostream

3. Join the Explore Iloilo flickr group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/1158203@N22/)

4. Add your photos to the group pool (see the Flickr Help Section for assistance)

5. That’s it! Your post will be automatically added to the Explore Iloilo Photoblog. The description of the photo in flickr will also be used as the description in the photoblog.

It may take up to an hour (or more) for the photo to appear in the photoblog after adding it in the Explore Iloilo flickr group

Initially, the photoblog will attribute photos to the Explore Iloilo Group, if you want your photos to be attributed under your name you will only have to register an account in the photoblog, here are the steps to having one:

6. Click on the “Register” link under the Admin Area found at the bottom part of the sidebar at the Photoblog. Or just click here (http://www.exploreiloilo.com/photoblog/wp-login.php?action=register)

7. Fill up the form. Your password will be sent to your email address

8. Log-in at the Admin Area using the password sent to you

9. After a successful log-in, you will directed to your Dashboard. Go to Users > Your Profile and enter your details. Don’t forget to change your password.

10. Inform me of your username (through email at exploreiloilo [at] gmail.com, flickr mail, pr facebook) so that I can upgrade your status to “contributor” and attribute your photos under your name. Finished!

Earn through your posts! If you have an adsense account you can earn through your photos on a revenue sharing system (your ads will appear 75% of the time on your photo page). To do this, just type in your publisher for content id on the Revenue Sharing tab under your Dashboard (http://exploreiloilo.com/photoblog/wp-admin/index.php?page=author-advertising). Remember to include just the pub-xxx and disregard the ca- prefix.
