the restoration should have been more faithful to the original structure otherwise it is not restoration. the belfry was comprised of six floors including the groundfloor. it had a partial damage during the II world was but has totally colapsed at the same moment of oton’s gothic church. some of guimbal’s bells were donated to its daugther parishes e.g. the one belonging to san joaquin. there incribed was: pueblo guimbal
