Recently, two more overpasses have been completed in General Luna Street. The new overpasses are intended to help ease the traffic in the area and avoid accidents to elementary students crossing the street due to proximity of large primary schools in the area including: Assumption Iloilo, Iloilo Central School, SPED, and University of San Agustin.

If Traffic aides do their job in enforcing anti jaywalking rules then the overpasses will surely be worth taxpayers money but if not, it will be just another addition to the city’s large list of unused and useless overpasses.
