Guimbal Church Facade
April 27th, 2007
Guimbal Church has undergone some reconstruction after it was destroyed twice, during the Second World War and during the 1948 earthquake. I’ve read that the original structure used to be bigger than the present, which seems to be the case since it’s quite small now. I like how it looks on the outside especially the bell tower, which gives me an impression of gothic architecture, not sure if it is really gothic though.
