San Joaquin Cemetery Capilla

San Joaquin Cemetery Capilla
The people of San Joaquin have just recently restored the historic chapel of their cemetery.

The coral stone and brick walls adorned with its round floral windows now gleam with splendor on top of the stone stairway. The iron grille doors were replaced with more faithful wooden doors. The original metal roof was carefully repaired and repainted. Below, the weedy grounds are now lined with stone and decorated with rectangular gardens.

The capilla literally crowns the cemetery with its magnificence.
